The Light Factory is a short film written and directed by me! It’s a comedic, fun, and playful story that radiates feminine energy. The film follows two best friends, Gigi and Astrid, attempting to get into an exclusive night club and make DJ connections. Desperate to appeal to the bouncer, Gigi and Astrid try out different personas to make it inside, but while pretending to be someone else, they learn about themselves, the important of authenticity, and friendship.

Rhapsody is a short documentary based on a marching band competition in 2012 from my hometown high school. What was supposed to be a small group assignment became something so special and important to me. This was a project I produced, directed, and edited.

After sharing this story online, I was given such positive feedback from my community, which truly reminded me just how powerful filmmaking can be.
